A 26 year old tourist from Finland has destroyed one of the amazing Moai statues on the enigmatic Easter Island, the most isolated inhabited island of our planet. A part of an ear broke off although full details about the destruction were not given. An inhabitant was able to give a description of the man who was apprehended shortly after. He's facing a jail sentence and a fine.
Easter Island is covered with 887 huge monolithic stone statues, called Moai. They're 400 up to 1,000 years old. The largest Moai weigh about 84 tons - that's as much as a herd of 12 seven-ton elephants! Read more about Easter Island Best wishes, Mark

I think we should cut his ear and jail him. That's the best punishment.
