Smile What's An Ideal Budget?

Ok so I intend to be in South America literally until the money runs out. Assuming I don't eat much, I use the cheapest accommodation I can find, will be travelling by bus unless I acan find a cheaper alternative but have a penchant for tours, sight seeing, tourist attractions and doing as much fun stuff as possible, roughly how much would I need a month? Either in NZ$ or British Pounds.

Yep, I know this is a very ambiguous question and will vary massively from country to country but a ballpark figure would be really appreciated

A daily budget between 10 and 15US$ will cover basic travel costs such as food, accommodation and transport. Depending on the attractions you want to see, like Machu Picchu or the Galapagos Islands, you'll have to put some extra money aside.

You need almost 15 USD per day for normal things like transportation and fooding. For a safer side you can have $20 per day.

The budget is a most important aspect in a traveling. One should always make sure that he has got all the finances and adequate money to travel in a city or country, which may be turned out as an expensive destination for an outside traveler.

You have got an ample amount of money before moving to a pre-planned destination. you can cost around U.S $ 30- U.S $ 50 on a daily basis expenses while traveling on south.
