hi,
im new to this whole thing but i have so many questions. I enjoy traveling but havnt had the opportunities to do it as much. i went to spain and paris last year and ran in the running of the bulls in spain, as much fun as that was i am interested in doing humanity work. do you know of any ways to do this and not have to go through a program where you have to pay to volunteer? my dream is to live among indigenous people and just live as they do and leave all this other stuff behind. i been wanting to do a trip to south america backpacking and just being on my own dont care if it makes me homeless but i want to travel everywhere for about a year and maybe find a living in one of these places. i graduate next year from college and i am planning this trip... basically i need advice |

The other thing you can do is just come to South America and ask around. I have met a lot of people down here that have done volunteer work... I think it would be pretty easy to find once you come here.
Also, if you are interested in going to a Spanish school a lot of the schools can place you in a volunteer position as well. I met a couple people that started in a Spanish school and then continued to the volunteer work even after they had left the school. Good luck! -Kadin |
