Hi all, I'm most likely travelling through Colombia, Peru and Bolivia starting in june for hopefully at least 2 months. I was wondering if anyone could give me tips of things I should focus my spanish learning on in particular or anything that you wished you'd learnt more of before you started your trip. I have a basic understanding and have been learning Spanish for about a year.

It's great you're learning Spanish. You can come a long way with some basic knowledge. If you can ask for prices and road directions you'll be just fine. Don't worry about it too much. Your Spanish is going to improve a lot on the road.
Try to read as much as possible in Spanish. Buy some Latin American novels for the trip. Some of them are quite difficult but if you hang on you'll reap the rewards.
