First Time out of Canada.

I have some traveling expeirence, I've spent 6 weeks in Mexico, and about 6 weeks in Europe. I am planing a much awaited trip to SA. Im hoping to go for 4.5 months and either start in Chile and end up in Mexico, or start in Mexico and end up in Chile.

The big question I have is that my dear boyfriend has never been outside of Canada. He's done tones of moving around the country over his life... but I'm wondering what advice anyone has for a first time traveller who would like a successfull SA 4.5 month long trip. I dont want him to be overwhelmed, but I want to make sure that I enjoy myself as well...

Any personal accounts or insights would be great!

There is no need to worry if you don't have experience traveling outside Canada. Traveling in South America is not much different from traveling in Canada. Whatever goes there goes in South America. Just make sure you got all necessary vaccinations and visa requirements ready, have good quality travel gear and you're all set to go. You'll both have lots of fun.
